The=20 past months have been challenging as I try = to=20 discover what "new normal" is following my = heart=20 attack last November.
I've learned = all=20 about "angina", "chest pain", "cardiac = rehab" and=20 a host of other heart related=20 issues.
Honestly my time hasn't = been easy=20 and without the physical help and = partnership of=20 many people I can't imagine what the days = would=20 have been like.
Currently I'm in = the middle=20 of a fairly intense cardiac rehabilitation = program=20 designed to help my arteries construct a = kind of=20 "natural bypass".
The shirt sums it = all=20 up-- "Exercise, some motivation required!" = My=20 motivation-- 2 grandchildren & 1 on = the way, a=20 wonderful family, great friends and woirk = that=20 still needs to be done reaching 1000's of=20 university students in the Pacific=20 Northwest.
You make it all possible = through=20 your intercession, encouragement and = sacrificial=20 financial partnership.

from SE Asia just in time to join our =
annual Labor=20
Day trip. We annually take up to 50 =
internationals=20
to some tourist destination in our=20
region.During this trip she became = friends=20 with our staff, agreeing to take part in a = Bible=20 study. About a year later Annie responded = to the=20 gospel and was = baptized.
Today she = is=20 returning to the northern frontier of her = home=20 country as a missionary to some of the = unreached=20 people groups that populate the area.=20
Annie is another example of the = full=20 circle of missions within Chi Alpha = university=20 = ministries.

Kathy and I have = enjoyed=20 having our two grandsons Lewis and Evander = with us=20 every Thursday. Lewis who LOVES playing=20 instruments turns 2 next month. =
Evander is=20 17 months old and loves following his big = brother=20 everywhere.
THE BIG NEWS-- our = oldest=20 daughter will be having our third grandson = this=20 October! We're looking forward to another = little=20 guy. Grandparenting ROCKS!
Shannon = &=20 Alec returned from nearly a month shooting = photos=20 and videos for our AGWM staff in North = Africa.=20 Shannon is now in the midst of her wedding = photo=20 season.
Alec moved back to Portland = from=20 Hollywood, California and is now looking = into=20 options either here or in the Bay=20 = Area.
